UWU Local 183 Ratifies Collective Agreement
Woodbridge, Ontario - October 2, 2006. National Challenge Systems Inc., a leader in the provision of vacuum truck services for the collection, treatment and disposal of organic and other non-hazardous liquid waste, announced today that the hourly employees at its Toronto operation represented by the Universal Workers Union Local 183 ratified its first collective agreement.
The terms of the three year deal include a harmonization of pay scales over 24 months, improvements to benefits and a 3% wage increase in each of the three years. The agreement is effective October 1, 2006.
