Vermont's "Cow Power" Biogas Renewable Energy Program
download pdfVermont provides residents with an option to purchase biogas generated renewable energy from their local utility by selecting an oprtion on their electricity bill. Residents are charged an additional four cents per killowat, which is paid directly to farm-based biogas renewable energy producers.
