Only if you want the phone add-ons. Ormi Phone is sold in monthly packages for the whole company, not per user: 1,000 minutes for $29, 3,000 minutes for $79, 6,000 minutes for $149. Minutes are shared by everyone, office staff and dispatchers included. Past your package it is 5 cents a minute, itemised on your invoice with the minutes that caused it - you are warned at 80%, 90% and 100%, you can set a monthly limit, and incoming calls always ring. Change package at any time, and an upgrade covers the whole month. Remove it and it keeps working until the end of the month you have already paid for, then is not billed again. Without Ormi Phone, calls to your business number ring any phone you choose: 1,000 forwarded minutes a month are included for the whole company, then 5 cents a minute. The AI Receptionist, which answers the calls nobody picks up, is the second add-on: $49 a month for the whole company, and it needs Ormi Phone. No other feature in Ormi is sold separately, and card processing fees are charged by the payment processor, not by us.

It answers your Ormi Phone number when nobody can, so the job behind a missed call is not lost. By default your phone rings first and the AI picks up if nobody answers, and outside business hours it answers straight away. If you use a phone menu, the menu answers first and the AI picks up when the option a caller chose goes unanswered. You can set it to after hours only, or pause it at any time. Every call opens with: "Thanks for calling [your company]. You're speaking with an AI assistant, and this call is recorded. How can I help you today?" It takes the caller's name, a callback number (read back to them), the service address, what they need, how urgent it is and when they are available, then tells them someone from your team will call back. A caller describing danger, like a gas smell, is told to leave and call 911. It does not quote prices, promise arrival times or book appointments; your team confirms those. Each call lands in your Ormi inbox with the full transcript and the recording, linked to the customer when the number matches, and you get a notification and an email. You tell it about your business (services, towns you cover, what callers usually ask) in Settings, Phone, AI Receptionist, up to 4,000 characters.

$49 a month for the whole company, not per user, with 500 AI minutes included, then 15 cents a minute. AI minutes are their own allowance and do not use up your Ormi Phone minutes. It needs Ormi Phone, from $29 a month, because it answers on your Ormi Phone number. You can set a monthly limit on AI spending: once it is reached, the AI stops answering until the next month and your calls are handled exactly as they were before you added it. Add it in the app under Settings, Account, Billing, Add-ons.

Not far, because the limits are built in. Every AI call ends at 5 minutes, which is more than a real service request takes. It hangs up after 20 seconds of silence. It only takes service requests, and ignores games, "repeat after me" and attempts to change its instructions. And one caller number gets at most 3 AI-answered calls a day; after that, calls from that number go to voicemail.
